Independent Testing
Because you shouldn't have to take our word for it.
We believe filtration claims should be backed by evidence. That’s why we combine simple before-and-after water testing with independent laboratory testing to show how Happy Filter performs.
The videos below demonstrate chlorine levels before and after filtration using a DPD No.1 chlorine test. If the water turns pink, this indicates chlorine is present. Further down, you’ll find our independent laboratory results showing measured reduction performance under tested conditions.

AUSTRALIAN LABORATORY TESTING
Independently tested by Unitywater Laboratory, Queensland.
Australian laboratory testing confirmed a clear reduction in chlorine after filtration through the Diamond Shower Filter.
Free chlorine: 0.4 mg/L → 0.1 mg/L
Total chlorine: 0.5 mg/L → 0.1 mg/L
The laboratory report lists a 0.1 mg/L limit of reporting for the test method.
Report No.: UW-67479
INDEPENDENT CONTROLLED LABORATORY TESTING
Lab tested to reduce free residual chlorine by 99%.
The diamond Shower Filter was independently laboratory tested for free residual chlorine reduction.
Before filtration: 1.50 mg/L
After filtration: 0.015 mg/L
Measured reduction: 99%
Testing was conducted at a flow rate of 6 L/min under the laboratory test conditions.
